ーStatement
タイディ・ピープルと読む。
これは、” 怠惰なひとたち ” を意味する造語で、 わたしが日頃から使っている言葉だ。
「あなた、なかなかタイディだねえ」とか 「今ちょっとタイディ」とか、そんな感じで使う。
わたしがついつい気になってしまう人たちのことであり、あの頃のわたしたちでもあり、
いつもどこで、なにをしているか分からぬ、あの人のことでもある。

ちゃんとしているとか、きちんとしているとか、
対岸にある言葉だと知り、なんだか、さらに気に入っている。
This is a coined word, made from the sound of the Japanese taida ( 怠惰 , meaning “laziness”),
and I use it in my daily life to mean “lazy people.”
I might say things like,“You’re pretty ‘taidi today,” or “I’m feeling a bit ‘taidi right now.”

対岸にある言葉だと知り、なんだか、さらに気に入っている。
