ーSTATEMENT
「ノーリーズン」すなわち、意味がなくともただ在ることについて、これを絵を描くことの主題としています。なにもしていない人の姿や風景についつい惹かれるからであり、ただ色に歓び、現在性のなかで光を掴むことでもあります。そして情報溢れるこの社会の中で、タイムレスで、説明可能な有用性をこえたものを見つめようとする態度でもあります。
また最近では、ノーリーズンな存在として植物を捉え、リサーチしています。
“No Reason”, the possibility of existence without meaning, is my idea of eternity. It's just the feeling of being drawn to people and landscapes that appear to be doing nothing in particular. It's a way of marveling at the present. Or perhaps It's also an attitude toward seeking something timeless, beyond explanation and utility within our information saturated society. 
Recently, I’ve been researching plants as presences of “No Reason”.
